Happy New Year! I hope you all had a fabulous holiday season! With all the socializing and celebrating this time of year brings it's no surprise that all those seasonal cocktails have inspired this latest blog post. I think you'll all agree that festive mingling is made all the more enjoyable when accompanied by the perfectly mixed drink which made me appreciate the importance of having a well stocked bar cart especially when entertaining at home. Take a peek at what I came up with:
This great little cart is the "BYGEL" utility cart from Ikea and what's really nice about it is that it comes with a removable drawer that slides in under the top shelf. This is really great for storing all the bar accessories and tools so they're always handy yet out of sight.
The cart came with plain white shelves so to dress them up a bit I simply covered them with grey marble contact paper which I found at the dollar store. I think it looks pretty great for a quick and inexpensive alternative to the real thing!
